Lamborghini , headquartered in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, launched the Virtual Ad Personam Studio , a new section of the Department that has been facilitating the personalization of Lamborghini cars according to the wishes of their customers. With the presence of this Virtual Studio, clients no longer need to travel to Bolognese to order the Lambo customization they buy.
This initiative is closely related to the Covid-19 pandemic, which causes almost all people and companies in the world to limit physical encounters to prevent the transmission of the deadly Corona virus. Almost all service-related companies now provide online services, to keep running their business.
So that since July 2020, Lamborghini car owners can pre-book through the nearest authorized Lamborghini dealer to carry out a 2 hour personalization consultation. The consultation may be accompanied by a sales specialist at the relevant dealer. A specialist consultant surrounded by the accessories options on display, will explain online in the Ad Personam virtual studio.
Video calls will be supported with relevant models in the Ad Personam studio . During the consultation, the Ad Personam team will provide direct advice on the design and personalization of the client’s car, with a walkaround to see close-up details of the smartphone.
The follow-up of the virtual consultation is in the form of a complete personalization proposal, which contains details of the materials, designs, costs required, to provide rendering images to visualize the final result of the client’s car customization. Even material samples are also sent to the client along with the proposal.

To celebrate this new Ad Personam facility, Lamborghini announced a special edition of the Aventador SVJ Xago, a Supercar produced in just 10 units and reserved for clients who virtually personalize their Aventador SVJ.
The Ad Personam program was first launched by Automobili Lamborghini in 2013.The physical studio of the personalization department only officially opened 3 years later, in 2016.
The supercar manufacturer bearing the Bull’s symbol said that by mid-2020, more than 50% of Lamborghini cars that had gone off the production line had at least one Ad Personam personalization detail. That’s a percentage that has tripled in the last three years, with the largest consumers coming from the United States, Asia and the UK.
