If there are consumers who feel that the Toyota GR Yaris is still not aggressive enough, Toyota Gazoo Racing’s racing division recently released a modification package for Toyota’s latest hot-hatch.
Starting from visual changes. The Toyota GR Yaris Gazoo Racing modification gets a large front bumper diffuser which reduces the car’s ground clearance by about 12 millimeters. The side of the car is also fitted with new side skirts with matching black accents with the add-on on the front bumper, making it visually lower.
From Body Kit To Valve Cover
At the rear, the car gets a new diffuser with four new exhausts from Gazoo Racing. Others, there are also some minor cosmetic side additions such as carbon fiber license plate frames, body strips, wheel valve caps and others.
Entering the cabin, the new parts start from special floor carpets, luggage rugs and carbon fiber interior materials on the dashboard and door panels.
There are no significant changes in the car engine sector. The Toyota GR Yaris Gazoo Racing modification under the hood is just the addition of a red strut bar that blends beautifully with the red engine cover pinned to the car.
Gazoo Racing Data Recording Device
In addition, Gazoo Racing also stuffs the car with a Gazoo data recording device attached to a USB port in the car interior and can provide car performance data that can be read with a special computer application.
The absence of changes in the dapu sector is suspected to be because the car already has a fairly capable performance with a built-in power of up to 257 hp for the European version and even up to 268 hp for the Japanese version. Power is sent to the four wheels that will drive the fast hatchback weighing about 1,280 kg with a manual transmission.
Toyota GR Yaris is currently only sold in Europe and Japan and is not available or not yet available in other markets and even potential markets such as the United States.
