Coming with several Supras to SEMA 2019, Toyota presents various variants of its flagship unit. After previously discussing other Supra such as Supra GT4 and Supra HypeBoost, now is the turn of the Toyota GR Supra 3000GT Concept.
The Toyota GR Supra 3000GT Concept is a form of tribute that takes inspiration from the Toyota Supra TRD3000GT which was released in 1994. Supra TRD3000GT was born in 1994 as a form of Toyota’s celebration of its victory in the JGTC Racing event using the Supra Mk4. That’s why he hopes that with the 2020 Supra model by a team from the Toyota Customizing & Development division, the GR Supra 3000GT will be able to capture this classic spirit.
Surprisingly enough, it turns out that there are Indonesians who helped create this version of Supra, this person named Heru Adi Nugroho. Reporting from caranddriver.com, it was under Heru Adi Nugroho’s direction that the Supra 3000GT was created.
The Toyota GR Supra 3000GT comes with a body that is more aggressive than some of the other Supra versions. The feature that attracts the eye the most is the rear spoiler, the large spoiler is alleged to have a nearly identical shape to the spoiler in its predecessor. The triangular ventilation holes on the hood are also similar to the 1994 Supra. Other body additions include a carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, side skirts and some new side panels.
Other devices that have also been replaced include exhaust systems that have used HKS output products, Brembo brakes have also been installed. And the racing seats from Bride also decorate the steering cabin.
This car has a silver brush metal motif with a slight touch of gold accents that are applied to the body through vinyl wrap.
For the engine, it’s a shame that you still use the standard 335HP engine. This is probably still understandable considering this version is still in the appendage of the word “Concept”, but if that is the case it is also not a problem.
