The world of modification with a wide body flow must be familiar with the Rocket Bunny brand. This name is one of the most popular aero kit (body-kit) modification styles in the world. The main characteristics are lowered, wide body, overfender and ducktail which make the car look wider and more aggressive.
Rocket Bunny is a body-kit product created and sold by TRA Kyoto in Japan. So, if we want our car to become a Rocket Bunny, then we have to buy it from the shop or the official distributor. Only then did our car turn into a Rocket Bunny.
Apart from Rocket Bunny, there are other brands that also have the same body-kit modification character. Liberty Walk and RWB (Rauh Welt begriff) have the same style. So it comes back again, I think Rocket Bunny is not actually a modification genre, but a product or brand from a modification genre. Maybe it’s a Japanese style overfender or something.

The creator of Rocket Bunny is Ken Miura. Miura itself is one of the automotive enthusiasts from Japan.
You could say Miura is a modifier like Akira Nakai, the creator of Rauh Welt Begriff. This 54-year-old man who designed a car for the first time was not a Japanese car, but an Italian car, Ferrari. At that time Miura san was 25 years old, and he started his design by rendering a Ferrari Dino.
When designing the Ferrari Dino, what was unique about Miura san didn’t even know what type of car it was. After being investigated deeper by him, Miura san finally understood that this car was one of the legendary racing cars of his time. “Someone asked me to design some parts, and I don’t know what kind of car it is. It turns out that the car is Dino’s racing car, ”said Miura.

Rocket Bunny itself is a modification that embraces a wide body using a high-quality FRP bodykit. Miura san herself didn’t initially have the idea to name her work. Until one day Miura san was daydreaming and the word Rocket Bunny crossed her mind. That’s what made Miura decide to use the name Rocket Bunny to this day.
Rocket Bunny, or often called Pandem, is now exclusively imported by Japanese aftermarket manufacturer, GReddy. One of the philosophies carried by Rocket Bunny is to combine the cultural concept of classic Japanese cars that are collaborated with a modern image without losing the character of the car. Then, does the Rocket Bunny bodykit work properly on modified street racing cars? The answer is of course yes.
Miura carefully pays attention to every design he makes so as not to spoil the beauty of the car. He is only trying to improve the overall appearance of the car. Miura itself does not mass-produce the Rocket Bunny bodykit. He made the bodykit by order. Then, what cars usually apply this Rocket Bunny? Miura designs Rocket Bunny for BMW, Volkswagen, Porsche, Acura, Honda, Ford, Mazda, Nissan-Datsun, Toyota and Lexus cars.

Now back to the subject, if you have a BMW E46 wide body modification, is it worth it, let alone use the Rocket Bunny body kit. The BMW E46 modification using the Rocket Bunny body kit itself has been found many times around the world, because this body kit looks cooler and more handsome than other brands of body kits. Even so in Indonesia it is still very rare to find a BMW E46 wearing this Rocket Bunny body kit.
Perhaps the problem with many BMW owners is that the Rocket Bunny body kit makes our car look flatter, while the roads in Indonesia are not as smooth as foreign roads. So that if you install this body kit, you must also install Air Suspension so that the car body does not hit the asphalt when passing through potholes or bumps.

Besides that, the budget problem is the main thing that rarely E46 car owners use this Rocket Bunny body kit. So they tricked them by coming to a modification workshop that could make their own body kit and copy the Rocket Bunny design, making it look as if their BMW E46 was using a Rocket Bunny body kit even though the body kit was fake or kw.
On the GReddy’s website, it is stated that the Rocket Bunny bodykit designs range from USD 3,000-17,000 per package. However, you can also buy them individually. For example, you can buy the over fender or the back for USD 2,400, or buy the whole package. Well, because the average Indonesian is rather difficult to buy original products, so use my products as I explained earlier. Modifications using the Rocket Bunny body kit are arguably one of the timeless wide body designs.
