Who would have thought this car from Honda could be modified into a really cool car.
This car is the S2000, is a roadster type car manufactured by the Honda Motor Company. This car was first launched in April 1999 and was made to commemorate 50 years of Honda’s founding. This car first appeared in the form of a concept car at the 1995 Tokyo Motor Show. The name S2000 was taken from the engine cylinder volume of 2000 cc, following the traditions of the S500, S600, and S800 which had previously appeared in the 1960s.
During the production of this car, 2 variants existed: the first model that appeared was codenamed AP1, while the next model experienced improvements in drivetrain and suspension in mid-2003. Production of this car was discontinued in June 2009. The Honda S2000 can accelerate from 0 -60 miles per hour (0-96 km / h) in 6.4 seconds. The 0-400 meter distance is completed in 14.7 seconds, and the car can stop from 96-0 km / hr at a distance of 113 feet.
This coolest Honda S2000 belongs to @pengepul_mobil, this car has been modified in such a way and included various aftermarket parts to make it look cooler and also faster than the manufacturer. from the bodykit this car uses a bodykit from the Spoon Type-S 2.0 from the front bumper, fender, rear fender, wide body, side skirts, etc.
From the front bumper itself it is designed for track use and is very aerodynamic, it can be seen from the grooves on the side which are used for wind flow from the front to the side, and the holes are very minimal in this bumper, different from other body kits such as vertex etc. The only visible holes are in front because it must be available to circulate air into the radiator, and besides the small hole there is a Fog Lamp that has built in from the front bumper, under the bumper there is a custom splitter from NS Custom which functions to increase downforce.
Then we continue on the rear bumper, the rear bumper looks really cool, this bumper is also included in the Spoon bodykit. On the right and left there are 2 large square holes that function to reduce wind entering the bumper, so no wind is trapped behind the rear bumper.
And under the rear bumper there is a carbon diffuser which looks really cool, this diffuser is made to increase downforce. And on top of that is a large wing or GT wing, and this wing is also custom in NS Custom, and what’s cool is what’s behind this wing is the hardtop, this is the hardtop of the race car. he said there are only 2 in the world and one of them is stuck in this car.
From the engine sector, this car uses the F20C S2000 engine that has been rebuilt and refurbished and uses the ITB or Individual Throttle Body of the Gen V Auto brand, but is modified again, the interior is made slightly tilted around 45 degrees and the interior is made of carbon and can be dismantled or removed. so that you can see the filter and the ITB. The radiator uses MMRAD-S2K-00 which is quite large and the radiator hose looks very neat and the color selection is black so it looks like standard even though all of them are branded, this radiator uses 2 large fans and in front of the engine there is a panel made of full carbon material.
For road performance, this car is quite fast and very responsive, with absolutely no power lag, and it can reach up to 8000Rpm. And this car already uses the StandAlone link, and has been tuned for daily use and of course for the track it is definitely really good, the handling of this car is also very good and the driving position is very comfortable because there are not many changes in the interior, only the shift knob is what replaced with aftermarket.
@Pengepul_mobil has always been known for its cool and neat modifications in the engine section, they have also modified the Toyota AE86 car and modified it very much like Takumi’s AE86 Tofu Shop in the Initial D film, there have also been many modification results winning contests and those the most famous is the Honda S2000.
You can judge how neat and clean this car is, as if this machine has wireless technology because cables are rarely seen in this car. People rarely modify this detail even to paint the body inside the engine, and this car pays attention to all that so that the shape of the exhaust pipe is made very simple and neat, really big appreciation for @pengepul_mobil.
